But then the purple-head walks into two of her students wrestling on the ground with nasty sneers and screeching insults, the third one off to the side while watching his teammates with an irritated expression.
And she thinks the Hokage is crazy.

Summary
Everybody had a soulmate, people just were too damn dead to find their own. It was believed that soulmates were bound with pain. If one were to ever experience pain, the other would too, just not the same level of pain.
Of course young Sakura believed Sasuke was her soulmate, but then he called her pathetic and she wanted to punch him in his pretty little face.
Shikamaru on the other hand was on the impression that soulmates were all but a myth written in those romantic novels with over the top irony and falsehood. So this came as a shocker.

The whole genin squad bristled with anger, sending murderous glares in that direction.
The injured boy's hand subconsciously flew to his bandaged arm. “Fucking lunatic,” he muttered venomously under his breath.
Kabuto narrowed his eyes. From this distance, he could only see two things: the perpetrator in question was rather scrawny and had hair the color of cotton candy.
In which Sakura was never befriended by Ino and had to face her problems alone instead. With thoughts revolving around revenge on her bullies and a sole companionship of the Inner Sakura, she grew up to be... somewhat peculiar.
One day, her odd behavior and mysterious abilities are noticed by a certain spy, which gives rise to a unique bond that changes the course of history.

Outside the temple, she built for Kurama.
In a shiromuku next to Madara who looks stupidly handsome in his montsuki with the Uchiha fan on his back surrounded by her Haruno circle of unity.
Hashirama is bawling in a pregnant Mito’s arms, Izuna is teary-eyed, Tobirama looks done with life as he hands him a handkerchief, and down below, the villagers throw petals in the air in celebration.
Kurama, the backstabbing fox, sits atop his shrine altar, in a shrunken form, and looks smug as hell.
How did my life come to this?

Sakura gets sent careening into the Warring States Era due to a Uzushio ruin seal and decides to make it everyone else's problem.
Somehow, along the way, Uchiha Freaking Madara decides he likes the way she shatters the earth with her fist and demands she marry him.
