    He waits. Waits for Alex to calm down again and to go back to the gentler treatment. To let him fall back into the comfortable headspace.

    But Alex doesn't calm down.

     

    When Michael tries to pull him back, he resists. Buries his head deeper in the curve of Michael's neck, presses his nose against the skin. At least he has stopped the biting for now. Michael's neck must look like he got mauled by a dog just about now. It wouldn't be too far off, Michael thinks and smiles to himself.

    As if Alex was in on the joke, he breathes in deeply. With his nose still nestled against Michael's skin he practically huffs the air there. His hot breath hits the wet skin and makes it all the more sensitive.
