Summary
What if the duel on Mustafar had ended differently?
It's only one moment, a tiny second, in which Obi-Wan Kenobi falters, his emotions overwhelming his composure and it is all it takes for Darth Vader to Force-shove him backwards into the lava of Mustafar.
But Obi-Wan doesn’t die.
Instead, he finds himself back on Tatooine, practically stumbling into a beskar-clad bounty hunter and a certain green child.
The Force is clearly not done with him yet.

Summary
Hiccup the Useless was not a fighter. He wasn't much of anything at all. He was a fine blacksmith, but even then people preferred to talk to Gobber when dropping off or picking up their gear. Hiccup could barely lift an axe or hammer, let alone wield one, which was why he had never been in dragon training and certainly wasn't expected to fight dragons. He was nowhere to be found during raids and even the increasing number of rogue dragons flying solo had never involved him.
It makes sense, in hindsight, how no one had realized he was barely ever in the village anymore, even if it was strange how he'd gone from being a constant nuisance to a nonpresence overnight. What didn't make sense was why was he found unconscious in the middle of the night wearing strange armor and down a leg.
While most didn't care about his accident and Stoick's only reaction was to restrict Hiccup's movements for his protection, Astrid was determined to figure out what Hiccup was hiding out in the forest.
Come along for Season One of Kings of the Wilderwest: a story where Hiccup never joined dragon training and, as a result, his friendship with Toothless wasn't exposed quite so soon.

Summary
Insipired by Tumblr post.
When Hiccup is shot by an arrow, the rest of the team have to deal with the following surgery. Viking style.
Featuring, Hiccup being a good leader but also being a backseat driver and over all annoyance, Snotlout being a Good Cousin, Fishlegs being a good (and unwilling) surgeon and too many jokes to be totally appropriate.
Also some vomiting, because surgery in the Middle Ages is gross as fuck.Bookmarked by desert_caldera

Summary
Hallucination, right? Has to be. But then Stoick pressed his axe close enough to graze the bottom of Hiccups chin and nope, nope, not a hallucination. “I— I don’t understand.”
“Did the dragon get you? Have you seen it?”
“Dragon,” Hiccup repeated numbly. Dragon. He knew that word. Definitely knew it. It sure sounded familiar. “Dr—Dragon! The dragon. Right, um, yes, right, uh— Yellow scales, four wings… that dragon?”
“Are there other dragons about?” It wasn’t a rhetorical or teasing question, but a man asking how many enemies were around him.
“No, uh. No. I just… I saw it crash into the ground and— wait, you crashed with it?” Hiccup suddenly realized. “What were you doing with that dragon?!”
Stoick leaned back from Hiccup just long enough to raise his axe. “What do you think I was trying to do, boy?”
Oh.
Oh.
--
Hiccup is still mourning the death of his father one year prior when a mysterious dragon crashes, somehow bringing a Stoick from the past with it. For a moment, it's like a miracle, until he realizes that this version of his father isn't the one he lost, but the one he's spent years trying to forget.- Language:

Bookmarker's Notes
This was SO GOOD. Such a great exploration of hiccup and stoick’s relationship!!! And Astrid was so well-characterized. This was great!
