Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen is ninety days away from inheriting a part from the billion-dollar empire her father built from Satan's crack up. The catch? She has to get married first. If she fails, her share of the inheritance is donated to charity.
With time running out, she turns to her old friend, Alicent Hightower, to play matchmaker. The problem is that every date is somehow worse than the last, and the only person Rhaenyra actually enjoys spending time with is the very straight woman determined to find her a wife.
It's definitely not a love story.

Summary
In Gwayne Hightower's defence, he had good intentions.
In Alicent Hightower's defence, she had very limited information.
In Rhaenyra Targaryen's defence, she has never in her life been so insulted, and she once sat through a four hour board meeting about paper clips.
Nobody comes out of this looking particularly good. Except Gwayne, who has decided he's a genius and cannot be talked out of it.

Summary
Alicent Hightower had not heard her own name spoken aloud for seven years. She felt, frequently, that Alicent, that girl who entered the Missionaries of the Mother at seventeen was dead. Only Sister Philomena remained. That was how she had been addressed ever since she passed her first year of aspirancy and postulancy and became a novice, donning the slate-colored robes that covered her body from head to toe and taking her first vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. At twenty-five, she was preparing to take her final, permanent vows.
And in 25 years, her unshakeable faith had not been tested like it was at that moment.
