Summary
When I posted the epilogue of "Regret," Jamie had passed away three years before Claire. It always seemed like a chapter was missing, but at the time, I wasn't able to write Jamie's passing in a positive way. This chapter would have fallen before the epilogue.
This chapter unfolds from Jamie's point of view. As I closed my eyes, I allowed Jamie to weave his tale in his own words.
Revisiting the mindset of Regret was surprisingly less challenging than one might anticipate. It carries a bittersweet quality, and I hope you find it captivating.Series

This is not a retelling of Outlander in Claire's time, but it does have echoes of the show and book cannon sprinkled throughout. Really just a tribute to the women who served in WW2 and an excuse to write another Jamie and Claire story with a different twist than my other pieces.
