“What? Do you feel dizzy? Headache, chills? Are you breathing okay?” Vi took her face between her hands, examining her pupils and scrutinizing her complexion.
“None of those things, Vi. I’m not dying.” She sighed, remembering all the things she had survived, all the obstacles she had overcome, gathering all the strength she knew she had within her in order to say what she needed to say now. “I’m… turned on.”

Caitlyn finds herself in need of an escape. Her mother, Cassandra Kiramman, is the Governor of Colorado, and has connections to the National Parks through her charitable foundation. When the opportunity presents itself for Caitlyn to become the Fire Lookout for Devil's Head Tower, she agrees. When Vi is asked to keep her company, it's only a matter of time before the two women feel a connection spark between them.
