    Summary

“Phainon of Aedes Elysiae.” Aglaea peers at him, her gaze as sharp as daggers. He might just break into a cold sweat right now. “You mean to tell me, that you fucked him, when you were supposed to kill him?”

Phainon’s arm flies to the back of his neck, scratching awkwardly. He smiles crookedly. “Look, a win is a win! It worked!”

Phainon is set on a mission to defeat the prince of strife. It goes a little unexpectedly.

    Diluc Ragnvindr returns to Mondstadt.
This is not quite the same thing as coming home.

(Kaeya Alberich is handling all of this in an entirely healthy and normal way, thank you very much. His dreams hold no cryptic messages of any kind and there are absolutely no reasons for him to be worried.)

    To D:

Father says you’re to come home.

I suppose that’s a surprise to you, isn’t it? I couldn’t understand your actions - not until he pointed out that you likely believe him dead. It changed my perspective, I’ll admit.

Adelinde says you lied to her. You told her you were going for a walk, and she believed you. She didn’t realize something was wrong until night fell and you weren’t home. She was in tears. Still is. That was selfish of you, brother.

I don’t know if I can look at you right now. But Father is right. Whatever mission you’re on, it’s not worth your life. It’s not worth losing your family.

Come back, or I’ll drag you back myself.

    ~=~

(Or: Crepus lives, but Diluc leaves and does not come back for a long, long time. Also, vigilante organizations are rarely trustworthy)

    Summary

When Bacchus said there was something wrong with Suo’s brain, it was always an expression of admiration for his intelligence. It was about how easily he could speak foreign languages, and switch from one language to another as easily as pressing a button on Google Translate.

He never meant anything else by it.

/Then, one day, Suo fainted in the middle of a patrol.
