Sanemi Shinazugawa was not a kind man.
Everyone would tell you so. ‘Kind’ was simply not a word that suited him. He was rash, loud, angry, and abrasive all the time, to those he had just met. To his friends, he was mean, cold, caring, and protective, but just not kind. Even he didn’t think so.
So when Giyuu Tomioka, a man he had done nothing but despise, called him ‘kind,’ you could guess he was more than surprised. And he didn’t like being surprised.

Or, Tomioka tries his best to befriend Shinazugawa, despite the numerous times that Tomioka has been and continues to be seriously hurt by him. It isn't until Giyuu's words start bothering him all the time that Sanemi realizes that something is up. And he doesn't like that something.
Also Genya and Sanemi are on good terms in this because i love them being happy brothers ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
My (one and only for the entire week) submission for SaneGiyuu week 2024! Prompt: hurt!

Summary
In which Tony Stark is left behind to die in a ice cold bunker in Siberia alone — or so he thinks.
It was honest to god snowing. Thick flakes instead of a flurry of white dust lightly coating surfaces — ha, there’s a sentence he’s used before — different context, far more enjoyable situation. Significantly less hypothermia involved.
He can’t talk to FRIDAY right now because there’s a 90% chance his lips have gone blue. Anything beyond the basic life preserving functions, like breathing, just might be what finally does Tony Stark in. Which, all things considered, would be pretty embarrassing.
Still.
Mental note — assuming he doesn’t die out here… which is a big assumption, by the way — he’s circling back to that whole other white dust situation. Reclaiming the narrative. For balance.

“I had scoliosis,” Peter whispered, not looking away from where they’d heard the metal snap. He had gone pale. Bucky was sure he was a few shades lighter, himself. “That’s… that’s what I was gonna say before."
“Yeah?” Bucky asked. He loosened his grip on Peter’s shoulder, but didn’t take his hand away.
“My back still hurts sometimes,” Peter explained quietly. “But that might be because of the swinging. Hard to find a strong enough chiropractor to crack it, you know? Maybe… maybe two thousand tons of concrete would do it, though.” Bucky leveled his gaze at the kid. Peter looked back at him, swallowing hard.
“Let’s call that Plan B, okay?” Bucky suggested.
“Yeah, okay,” Peter mumbled.

Or, Peter gets caught in the collapse of a parking garage with a (mildly) concussed Bucky Barnes, and has a nice get-to-know-you sesh with our favorite super soldier while waiting for Tony to find a safe way get them out. Super chill, right? Everything's fine. Oh- and he's been impaled by two rods of rebar and can't move without risking bleeding out. That... complicates things.
