    Reki rolls around so that he's flopped over on his belly and makes a swooshy hand gesture. "Miya, you do a buncha' tricks, right?"

    Miya narrows his eyes. "Yes..?"

    Reki props himself up on his elbows, his eyes shining with that specific glimmer that always shows face when he's thinking of something particularly stupid. "Do you think it's possible to hold hands while skate boarding?."

The pure happiness in his expression punched the breath out of Langa’s lungs and for just a second, he took his eyes off the road. One moment his feet were planted on his board, and the next he was airborne.
