"You don’t know me," she told him, all that time ago, but he does, he does, he does.
And if she feels more seen by the guy who’s made her fear for her life than by her husband of twenty years, what does that say about her marriage?

Summary
Rio pinned her hands harder against the wall, his eyes piercing hers. His voice was low with anger that was seeping out of him. “You don’t get it do ya?”
Beth felt her whole body become flushed with warmth. Unable to move her arms, she arched her back, pressing herself against him harder. He felt the friction of her body against his, knowing if she kept moving, she would feel the hardness between his legs.
He freed her wrists, and her hands landed on his chest. ”Fuck you Rio,” she said. Her hands slid up to his tattoo. She put her hands around his neck sitting at the bottom of his tattoo, glaring at him. She suddenly found herself focusing on his mouth as he spoke. He had a glare in his eyes too but a grin on his lips. 'Aight you wanna play it this way huh?"

It was funny ( not really ) that she kept obsessively coming back to clean this one spot. One would think she almost felt guilty for what she did ( she didn’t ) the truth was, everytime the gun shot and sight of blood pooling around Dean popped back up, she imagined actually finishing the job for real… and that was the problem.
Part of her wished she’d actually killed him.

Summary
"Here's how we're gonna do this," Rio's voice is soft, intimate, sending a shiver up Beth's spine. "You're gonna get in the car, and I'm not gonna shoot you in the leg."
That's when Beth realizes his gun is out, suddenly feeling it pressed to her thigh, "Then you're gonna stop fuckin' testing me because one of these days, I'm not gonna give you a warning, yeah?"
"You- you can't-" Beth's trembling, and she knows it's obvious because he smiles, and it isn't a nice smile, "You need me alive, remember?"
"There are all kinds of ways you can shoot someone so they don't die," Rio chucks her chin, a glancing touch that barely connects, and backs up a step. "You should know, darlin'."

Summary
This series is about Beth and Rio trying to navigate through their ever changing feelings about working with one another...and what tends to spark between them when they do. (Some stories follow episodes but most are requests from my tumblr that follow a consecutive timeline).
