Summary
Placed in a new foster home two months before he turns eighteen, Goro Akechi tries to prepare for the inevitable moment when he will be left to the mercy of the society that has punished him ever since he was born to the wrong person under the wrong circumstances. But when he is granted access to another world on the first day of his new school - a world of monsters and demons, of cognition and real-life consequences - he knows that he has finally been given a chance to change his situation, and maybe track down the nameless absent father who left him and his mother to die.
And finally punish him and everyone else who made his life a living hell.
(A Role Swap AU, where Akechi is both leader of the Phantom Thieves and murderous vigilante.)

Summary
You still get to be the hero.
You get magic gloves! A fish that talks! You get eyes like flashlights!
What more do you want?
I make you pancakes, I take you hunting, I talk to you as if you’re
really there.
Are you there, sweetheart? Do you know me? Is this microphone live?
Let me do it right for once,
for the record, let me make a thing of cream and stars that becomes,
you know the story, simply heaven.

Summary
“Because I want some coffee,” Ren continues, looking like he doesn’t know exactly what he just fucking did. Like they’re talking about their plans for the evening. Like Goro isn’t trying to secure whatever last bit of agency they have left.
He tries not to snap, with moderate success.
“Can you take this seriously for one fucking second?”
----
yeah. yet another 2/2 fic, in which they both take it very seriously 👍 no, really.

"I wonder," Akechi says, conversationally, "if I'm even capable of saying no to you, now."
