She has been completely devoted to her family all her life, and now is in a position to be completely devoted to his. She smells of lilies, and Anthony stays in the parlor far longer than he should after she leaves just to keep smelling it. She is the best person for the job, and if there are other benefits, such as the strange pull Anthony feels in his chest when he sees her or even reads her name, they are not relevant for the job. She is simply here for the children.
