    Summary

The coffee used to get cold. Before, when he would find every reason to linger around the kitchen counter, trading lazy kisses tasting of burnt coffee and mint toothpaste, stealing bites of breakfast sandwiches that didn’t fit with his diet during hockey season. He couldn’t help himself then. He lacked discipline and focus. But that was another lifetime. That was before. Shane was different now. He had to be.

    **********

Four years after the cottage, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov quietly ended their relationship.

Two years after their split, the shape of their lives is drastically different. Ilya is in New York married to Svetlana. Shane stayed behind in Montreal and is single. They keep their distance, only spending time in the summer when required as co-founders of The Irina Foundation.

In 2023, Shane meets someone else. Someone perfect on paper, who offers to give Shane everything he’s ever wanted. Well, almost everything he’s ever wanted.

Shane will face the ultimate decision. And he’ll have to ask himself one question: Is this enough?

    Summary

Sometimes David Hollander longed for his days of blissful ignorance. The days before he knew intimate details about the dark underbelly of the world, and his son's love life. But it was far too late for that. Besides, arming himself with knowledge gave him the tools he needed to protect the people he loved, so at the end of the day, if he had to do it all over again, he would choose knowledge over blissful ignorance every time.

    Or

    David Hollander is a spy.

    Summary

Shane had a sinking feeling everything would end badly after his first meeting with the Montreal Voyageurs team doctors. The conversation with his new coach after cemented it into a hard cold truth that settled in him and weighed on every decision he made after.

Being an omega in the MLH was never going to be easy but Shane had thought he'd been signing onto a good team.

    He hadn't.

    Summary

What if after tuna melts, whispered names and the Rose of it all - in a post All Stars Game world - Shane thinks the world is finally starting to make sense again to him. Once the ground is firm under his feet - or so he thinks anyway - it's turns out to be less than stable? What if when Shane was getting his hook ups in Mexico and Hollywood - he wasn’t as unnoticed as he had originally thought?

When Montreal shows it’s true colors sooner, a No Trade Clause is waived and Boston gets an opportunity to build a dynasty that rivals the one of their largest rivals up North.

What if Shane and Ilya’s worlds are turned upside down and things with their over 8 year long situationship (now maybe relationship?) suddenly got more complicated and somehow simplified at the same time? Shane honestly thinks this is possibly the most ‘them’ resolution to a situation he has ever found. Ilya is just doing his best - he thinks. Maybe.

Also, the Power Play in Boston is about to be the thing of nightmares, if a certain Russian can stop blocking Shane's damn shot…

    Summary

Ilya wakes up confused. He’s pretty sure he fell asleep at home, in bed, with Shane fast asleep in his arms, but he wakes up on a flat surface with a pinch in his lower back. Had he fallen off the bed in the middle of the night? Neither he nor Shane move much in their sleep, but he supposes it isn’t impossible.

He levers himself up on one hand, stretching out his back slightly as he sits up. He’s definitely not in his bedroom anymore. The room he’s in is large and full of bulky hockey players spread out across the floor. Their soft groans and quiet questions begin to filter in his ears as they wake up as well. He sees some players he knows are on the Voyageurs, some of his own teammates, some coaching staff, and even some WAGs like Jackie Pike and Cassie Boodram. But the most important person in the room is laid out next to him, face slack and peaceful with sleep.

“Shane,” Ilya urges, shaking him. “Shane, wake up.”
