Summary
In the 1950s conservative Kansas Castiel Novaks, a composed college student growing up in a religious household, world collides when he meets the cocky Dean Winchester, a mechanic with a carefree attitude and charming smile. Soon Castiel finds himself feeling something he had promised himself he would never feel, and suppressing his true self becomes harder and harder. Dean's lack of concern for what others think both terrifies and fascinates him. But the Midwest is a dangerous place to be different.
