A Descendants Universe Story
They were raised with love but born into legacy.
Cherry, Timothy, Aloïse, Maxwell, Jay, and Carlos — six boys with villainous bloodlines and heroic homes — are the first generation raised under the “Once Upon a New Beginning” program. The goal: break the cycle of evil by giving villain kids a second chance with fairytale heroes.
Until now, they were homeschooled and sheltered by their adoptive parents. But now, they must step into Auradon Prep, a real school full of students who often judge them by their blood.
Thrown into crowded classes, royal traditions, and lingering prejudices, they must learn to survive without constant guidance and find their own identities beyond their past.
Along the way, they’ll build unexpected friendships, find love where least expected, and discover that being a little sarcastic or guarded doesn’t make them villains — it makes them real.
Because happily ever after isn’t given.

“Hey, you okay?” Ben asked, holding out his hand to help Carlos up.
“Yeah,” Carlos groaned, pulling himself up with Ben’s hand. “I’m kind of used to Jay’s bull…” realising he was talking to a goodie-goodie prince, he realised cursing may not be the best move here. “Crap,” He said, questioning his own decision to do so. “But that was actually on the tame side of what I’ve received from him.”
“Only because you protected yourself, I’m guessing?” Ben asked. Carlos just nodded.
“Well, not every time he tries to roughhouse with me do I literally have a shield handy,” He said, making Ben laugh. It was probably just polite though. Ben seemed like a polite guy.

OR: A rewrite of Descendants where Ben has a crush on Carlos. Really, that's the only difference. A lot of it is the same. It only gets really different around the end. I plan on rewriting the second as well, which will have more differences in it.

"Great!" Midoriya beams, clapping his hands energetically and cutting Shouto off. Iida seems to sigh in relief at the assertion that they like each other, allowing the tension to drain from his body.
"-he's a great friend," Shouto finishes.
Asui buries her face in her hands.
"No, if you're going on a date, it should be more than that," Uraraka tells him nervously. "More than friends."
"Best friends?" Shouto guesses, and now it's Iida's turn to express his feelings with a low groan.Hanta has finally plucked up the courage to ask Shouto to go on a date with him! It would be perfect, if two things didn't get in their way: Shouto not understanding the invitation, and him having no idea whether he even likes Hanta romantically or not.

Summary
Even when Shoto was young, he kept himself in control. At first it had been at the will of his father, but soon Shoto found that he needed that control. It just wasn’t possible for him to lay back and let the world turn on its own. So even when the stress was so bad he began icing over his morning coffee mugs and every pen he tried to pick up melted, Shoto kept it together. Without his control, he had nothing.
With one tiny asterisk.
“Oh, baby, you aren’t trying to get away, are you?” Hanta’s voice was nearly unrecognizable. What was usually lazy and quippy was now dark and seductive, a cruel laugh following up his question. “I thought I told you I was in control tonight?”
Or;
Shoto's a bit of a control freak but thankfully, Hanta's just a regular freak. Sex ensues.
