"My folks used to tell me that this painting has brought tons of people together." the woman giggled before taking her leave, with the two bowing in response.
"Okay that was weird but what-" Now, Tashiro's face was in a brighter shade of red which immediately got to Niibashi causing him to blush as well.
"The heck! What are you even blushing for!?" irritated, Niibashi was about to turn around to hide his face when Tashiro gently held his wrist.
With his blush subsiding and eyes sparkling, he cleared his throat before flashing a grin from ear to ear. "Wanna have lunch with me?"

Summary
After a long day of school and practice, Tashiro is headed to the bathhouse as his part-time job but feeling (extra) exhausted, he planned on stopping by the nearest convenience store in school.
On his way, he spotted an familiar figure, specifically a boy in the same uniform, carrying multiple big bags. It was impossible to not recognize who the person was. Afterall, who cannot recognize that fuschia, almost redhead from afar in the first years.
“Nii-ba-shiii~~” Tashiro gleefully called as he skips his way towards the smaller boy. The latter didn’t even turn his head around to know who the owner of that loud ass voice was.
“Can you not call my name with that ugly sing-sang tone? It’s 7PM.” Niibashi muttered to himself with a sigh as he fixed the bags he was carrying.
“Exactly! So whatcha up to? It’s super rare for the arts club to head home this late! Let alone seeing you carry all those by yourself.” The green eyed boy greeted back as he swayed his hands in front of his batchmate. I can forget about refreshments just this once. I’m not so tired anymore anyway.
