Reo chokes on his drink, carbonation shooting straight up his nose and making him gasp. He coughs wildly.
“Sorry?”After a disastrous loss at the Emmy Awards, renowned actors Mikage Reo and Nagi Seishiro stopped working together. Reo is handling this perfectly fine, thank you, until he finds out that they've both been cast in the project of a lifetime. Now, he's forced to confront their past, their future, and some uncanny similarities between himself and the pining teenage soccer star he's supposed to portray.

Nagi blinked. Reo blinked back.
Reo’s eyes were wide, his brain buffering like a lagging Wi-Fi connection. Meanwhile, Nagi was experiencing every stage of grief in real-time. Did he just say that out loud?
Completely unfazed by the sheer embarrassment in the air, Choki just flopped deeper into Reo’s arms, purring like this was the most normal moment ever.
In which, Choki (a cat) accidently becomes a matchmaker for its owner.
