(She thinks, once, that she might be lonely.)
(It’s not a big deal.)
(She has the Honmoon following her and the ghosts and sometimes Celine – and yes, she might feel lonely, still, but it’s not a big deal.)
(There must be a reason why no one wants her around.)
(Something other than just the patterns – only Celine knows of those. Maybe the ghosts. But no one else – so she knows that there must be some other reason, one that is really obvious to everyone else but hard to define, for her.)
(It’s been there since forever.)
(Maybe there is more ruined about her than just the patterns.)
(Maybe there is another, deeper reason – the marks are merely on her skin, in her flesh, after all, but they do not reach her soul. Or do they? Perhaps, then, there is something rotten within her, something bad, something that screams at other people from a distance don’t come near me be careful hate me don’t you ever learn how to love me.)
(She thinks it might be her destiny – to be lonely. There is no use crying over it.)

Summary
The aftermath of 'Turn off the light':
When people say that you see the light when you meet death, they should really say that when you die you take the light with you. Because Charles was dead, and suddenly everything was dark, and yet some things were made clear. In the darkness, the people left behind realise what it really means when they say to not take anything for granted. They realise their mistakes, their biases, the hurt that they unwittingly conjured - and what really hurts is that they only realised once it was too late. The light had already been turned off and taken away, and there was no power in the world that could turn it on again.
