Everyone knows the kingdom has a dragon. Legend says the dragon has been the protector of the realm since before the kingdom was born. Many people say the dragon saved their lives. Rumor says the royals never really liked the dragon.
The decree, however, says that the dragon has betrayed the kingdom and fled the country with an important artifact stolen from the treasury. Anyone who has the whereabouts of the dragon will be awarded with gold and whoever kills the dragon and brings back the artifact shall be knighted with the highest honor.
