Lester flushes when he sees them, new and freshly pulled out of that brown paper pocket the mailman dropped at their address that morning: "are we..brothers now?" Avoiding the elephant.

Lester shivers, taking a deep breath “I- I’m not that same guy from before, you- you hear me? I’ve changed! I- I won’t let you boss me around! You- it’s kidnapping- you understand? I- I think you should thank me I did not tell the law about you! You understand they got your picture, right? Your face is everywhere and doing this? Me, disappearing suddenly- my wife’s gonna report me missing! Heck, if she hasn’t done that yet!”

مردی قدبلند و چهارشانه تقریبا هم هیکل آرتور وارد چادرش شد. سرش در لحظه ورود پائین بود و لبه کلاهی که با پرهای زیبایی تزئین شده بود روی صورتش سایه انداخته بود. کلاهی دقیقا شبیه به کلاه آرتور. وقتی سرش را بلند کرد مانند این بود که آرتور به تصویر خودش داخل آیینه نگاه میکرد.
