How do you mourn the death of a star? A light once so radiant; merely to be crushed by its own gravity. The pressure was too much, they said. Too sudden, they said. But you know stars signal their end is near. Everything about that star will change. It’s appearance, it’s mannerisms, how it always tells you he isn’t hungry.
I saw those signs. My star was ready to die; however, my foolish self did not act. Why? How couldn’t I see the obvious signs? Of struggle? Of suffocation?
The answer is pretty clear,Sebek Zigvolt wasn’t a normal star.

Summary
“There was no denial of his respect and love for Malleus and Silver, but hearing them both cry over their isolation, over not being loved, it infuriated him. He’d bite his tongue until the day he ultimately passed, but how could he not resent that his love wasn’t enough? That he wasn’t enough to keep those around him from feeling this way? The lively energy previously drifting through the air as a result of their mirth ebbs into something more somber, and the smiles on their faces gradually start to vanish. Jack drapes an arm over Rafael’s shoulders and pulls him in so that their bodies are flush. Miko takes Rafael’s hand in hers and intertwines their fingers before giving it a comforting squeeze. The youngest receives their gestures with a soft smile and a murmured “thanks.”
Optimus sits up a little straighter as Rafael begins to talk.
“There was an accident last night.”
Something is bothering the children, and Optimus decides to find out what that is.
