Summary
This fanfic is inspired by Revenant, A Cloudy Path, and Playing with Lego’s. I have a particular soft spot for the Cybran faction of Supreme commander, but unlike in these inspirations, Taylor will have a regular Queen Administrator power. Instead of having canon Supreme Commander sized units, they will be scaled down. The ACU is 3m (9.82ft) tall and all the other units are the same relative size. As much as I like all the fictions that inspire this attempt, they all essentially end once Taylor really gets going and has the full army available. So, I am going about it slightly differently and hope you enjoy the ride.
This fic assumes you have read Worm. Any scenes that are too similar to Worm get summarized briefly.

Summary
A Random SI named Vortex killed Leviathan, and interceded after the grand reveal of Skitters unmasking as a mole to the Undersiders and the Protectorate. He intervenes on the issue and makes Skitter a deal. One boon in return for coming with him as a student. The amount of time undetermined.
In return for this agreement, over the arguments of the Heroes and the Undersiders, Skitter asks him to save Dinah Alcott from Coil.
Coil, Noelle, and the Travelers are taken down before they leave.
Skitter is returned to Brockton Bay the day the Endbringer Memorial is being revealed, looking about ten years older, wearing a black bikini and a half mask.
She is immediately grabbed by the PRT, but Skitters return goes public on PHO.
The PRT are trying to figure out how to spin this and control the optics, so they apply their full unmasking protocols on Skitter. Upon discovering her past and the source of her Trigger Event, the PRT and the Protectorate realize just how fucked Skitters view of the heroes is and decide it's time for damage control and information gathering.
Taylor... isn't feeling helpful.

Summary
The Old World has been buried by War. The New World has done away with War.
In the near-future, the nations of Humanity saved themselves from extinction by calling the last Great War a draw. Knowing Humanity would always resort to War, a genius inventor created a new system, using a name from a board game he enjoyed as a child: the Stratego System. Here digital "Commanders" could simulate conflict to wage War without killing. This world, the New World, has changed.
A lone Cadet, perceived as a weakling to his peers, has been given the green light to wreak havoc on the New World Order. He stands alone, an outlier in a world that wants to either see what he can accomplish...or see him fail and swept under the rug as another nameless Commander.
But what he will bring to bear will change the New World, Stratego, and life as they know it, forever.

Hilarity ensues. Including, but not limited to, a Special Circumstances archaeological dig on a Necron tombworld, multi-party future sight gambit pileups, serious upgrades to the Tau, fun with the Dark Eldar, some subtle influence in the IoM, and a hell of a lot of dead Tyranids.
