Summary
Arashiyama goes on holiday, but that doesn't stop his fellow Border agents from getting into shenanigans with his temporary stand-in - the lifesize cardboard cutout of him that someone happened to borrow from HR and is definitely getting returned back in one piece in pristine condition. Or not. Featuring okonomiyaki meet-ups, mahjong circles, and a small explosion or two.
"What the hell are you guys playing at."
"Kizaki-san let Jin drive," drawled Ikoma. "Backed right over him. Now he's only half the man he once was." He angled the cardboard cutout, directing Arashiyama's frozen gaze at Kageura.
Kageura felt....nothing. Thank god. -

Summary
Five years without any contact was a long time. The distance had built new walls on top of old wounds. They were still best friends, maybe, but did they really know each other anymore? In an ideal situation, they'd spend some time alone, maybe go on a few small adventures. Take it slow. Rediscover what drew them to each other in the first place.
But Killua had officially decided that the situation was not ideal. In fact, it was so much the opposite that he was going to have an enormous hickey on the inside of his elbow.
Because instead of taking things slow, they were pretending to make out in a closet.

Nijimura stilled, heart pounding shallowly in the cavity of his chest. “What?”
“I need you to investigate my death,” Akashi said again. “Some trust others with their lives. I’m trusting you with my death. Simple enough, is it not?”
“I’m guessing I don’t have a choice."
