"The hell?" Knife guy breathes. He looks at Tony, and then back at the suit. Ned can hear the wheels spinning in his mind. If I have Iron Man, then who is in the suit?

There’s silence for a second, then another. Everyone waits with baited breath until Peter’s tinny voice comes out of the suit. “Give me back my Tony.”

    OR

Peter’s class barely makes it in the door to Stark Industries for their field trip when they find themselves in a hostage situation. Peter and Ned know exactly what they have to do to save Mr. Stark from the bad guys. A short fic that’s supposed to be fun and easy to read. Not crack, just fun. Minor angst near the end.

“What’s going on?” Tony asks, walking over to the security guard. The man is sitting at his desk and talking to a kid who’s gesturing animatedly. “Is it bring your kid to work day or something?”

“Hi!” the kid says, smiling brightly and waving at Tony. “I’m Peter.”

“He says he’s, uh…” The guard seems to be at a loss.

“You’re my dad!” Peter says, still smiling brightly.

    Tony’s whole body flinches.

Boss — Miss Stark just returned from her field trip.

Tony frowned, wondering why FRIDAY felt the need to notify him. This was the normal time for Penny to get home from school.

    Great. Anything I should know?

Her vitals are outside of normal parameters. She appears unwell.

Tony was halfway to the elevator before the PR guy even realized he was gone.

[OR: Penny gets bitten by a radioactive spider and thats really just the start of her problems.]
