Summary
The only things Harry has left after the War is his friends, his grumpy elf and his work. As Hermione and Ron create their own family and their own home, Harry spends his evenings in his favourite armchair, and his nights sleepless in his bed. The adrenaline he gets out on cases is as close as he gets to living again. When he stumbles across a corpse in Knockturn Alley he gets obsessed with finding out what happened to the man. Unfortunatly, the only person who can help him find the truth, is the one person he does not want to work with.
Draco has worked hard to build a respectable reputation after the War. After years of studying in France, he works as an expert of magical signatures. When Blaise tells him that the ministry needs help with a strange series of murders, he reluctantly returns to London. He almost turns back when he finds out that he is to work with Potter, who despite having grown up in every other way, still treats him like the teenager he was when they knew each other. It doesn't help that he turns into said teenager when around Potter.
OR: Harry and Draco becomes each other's anchors in an ocean of loneliness.

Summary
There are things Mary do not do. Things that she has seen others do and therefor feel no need to try herself. Climbing trees, drinking alcohol, spending time alone with eligible bachelors and accidentally confessing her own pining to the man she is pining for is all on that list. That is, until she accidentally does most of them in one single evening.

Summary
After getting to know Mary Bennet, Tom was certain of a few things. That he was desperately, irrevocably in love with her, that he needed to let her know this, and lastly, that he did not have the words to do so. He loved words, he spent his days entwined in them in one way or another. He used them in his work, he consumed them in his free time, and yet they evaded him when he needed them the most. It seemed that any grace he had left his body when Miss Bennet looked upon him. He could talk to her, sure, but it was no words that could convey his emotions. He turned to the only thing he could think of to rectify this. He turned to poetry.

Tom is a first class yearner and tries to tell Miss Bennet about his feelings through poetry, and Mary is enjoying her new found interest in both poetry and Mr Hayward. -

Summary
Tom has an issue. He may or may not have accidentally told people that he has spoken for Miss Bennet, even though they are only friends. He blames this on the fact that she deserves much more than to be courted by the available suitors of London, and not of the strange feeling he gets from thinking of her with another man.

Mary is determined to help her friend out when she hears of how Mr Hayward needs to be engaged to be married in order to be able to advance in his career. She understands how a solid home-life is important for a barrister, and so she steps up to be his pretend fiancé. It has nothing to do with the flutters she gets in her stomach when he looks at her for too long. Or any time at all really. -

Mary was not used to touches growing up. It changed when she moved to London, and became a natural part of her days. Touches did not bother her anymore. That is until she got touched by Mr Hayward for the first time, and it was all she could think about.
