Summary
Limpany’s burning was a lot more than meets the eye. Deception, greed, and murder follow everyone touched by Leviticus Cornwall. A story where the Van der Linde gang gets even more inescapably involved in Cornwall’s dealings, with the widowed survivor of the massacre at the heart of it all. Slow burn. Pre-Blackwater and beyond.

Now you wear your sister’s life like borrowed skin—her ring, her fiancé, her future. It should have been quiet, safe, and ideal, as much as it was all pretend.
That is until the Van der Linde gang rises from the grave—and with it, Arthur. Older. Still maddening. And now reassigned to protect you again.
He haunts your estate like a shadow. You tell yourself you’ve moved on. But every glance, every touch, every silence heavy with history... he unravels you.
The law is closing in. Enemies are circling. Last time, love nearly destroyed you. This time, it might finish the job.
