The hotel ballroom is chaos.
Gold streamers hang half-detached from the ceiling. Someone has commandeered the DJ booth. Fat Amy is on a table. Again. The air smells like champagne and sweat and victory.
They won.
The Bellas are glowing — mascara smudged, heels abandoned, voices hoarse from screaming and singing and screaming again. Beca Mitchell is leaning against the wall near the bar, nursing something pink and dangerous-looking that she absolutely did not order for herself.
She doesn’t do victory laps. She doesn’t do dancing. She doesn’t do public displays of anything. She especially doesn’t do slow songs.
