Summary
The Soulmorph is a complicated process honed by evolution where when Eridians meet their songmate, they both undergo a physical and physiological change that helps them better adapt to both environments, in order for them to produce healthy clutches with an environmental advantage to their birthplace.
Pretty normal for any usual Eridian.
The thing is, Grace is an unusual Eridian.

Or
Rocky has grown curious about the strange behavior Grace has been exhibiting. After some consideration, Grace agrees to show him exactly what makes humans so different from Eridians.
