Summary
“Hey.” Hongjoong’s voice is soft. He stops a foot away, close enough to smell the sweat on San’s skin and the faint cedar of his cologne. “Look at me.” San turns his head. His eyes are glassy, pupils blown wide, and his lips are parted. He looks wrecked, fucked-out, and Hongjoong hasn’t even touched him yet.
“I can’t,” San whispers. “It’s too much, I can’t, I’m going to- ”
“You’re not going to do anything.” Hongjoong reaches out, cups the back of San’s neck. His thumb finds the hollow at the base of San’s skull and presses, just hard enough to ground him. “You’re going to go back to the table. You’re going to eat dessert. You’re going to make conversation with our friends. And you’re going to keep that plug inside you until I say otherwise. Do you understand?”
San’s breath shudders out of him. His eyes search Hongjoong’s face, looking for mercy, maybe, or permission to fall apart. There's none of it.

The familiar meowed at him again. Jongho raised an eyebrow at him. “What, San?” His familiar slowly stretched his front arms, then his back legs, before slinking over and headbutting Jongho’s hand holding the vial. Jongho balked. “No, I don’t need to take this. There’s no reason for me to test it.”
San meowed.
Jongho sighed. He uncorked the bottle he had just closed. “Fine.” Without much preamble, he tipped the bottle back and emptied it in one go.
