Jinu stared at her like she was speaking greek. "You mean you really haven't told your pack mates you're a demon yet?"
Rumi sputtered, the tips of her ears turning pink. "W-what do you... Pack mates?"
Now Jinu was definitely staring at her like she came from Mars. After a beat he sighed, long and dramatic- as if finally realizing that he had chosen to approach the most oblivious dumbass on the planet. At this point it wasn't even funny anymore, just sad.
"Your pack mates." He repeated, like saying it again would magically help her to understand. "You know, the two you've imprinted on?"
Rumi choked, patterns flaring as her brain short circuited. "Huh?"

Or, my take on the idea of a Rumi that is much more affected by her demonic heritage. Complete with appropriate levels of thristing from her (totally platonic) friends she just happens to be magically bonded to, far too much lore and world-building from what was supposed to be a crack fic, and a helpful dose of sapphic pining.

Rumi had told herself she would go to the club, have a few drinks, and be friendly to anyone who talked to her. She didn't have to go out of her way to interact, but she would try not to shy away from anyone initializing casual conversation or even light flirting. Just dip a toe back into the world, get herself out there a little bit. She wasn't looking to date, she wasn't looking for sex, she just wanted to show herself she was capable of being normal. This was her next baby step on the road to one day being a fully functioning member of the human race again. She was nowhere near ready for anything more than that.
-No one knows you here. No one cares here. It's fine. You're fine.
But her pep talk did nothing to assuage her panic. She sighed, shoulders slumping in defeat, and turned to leave-
-and ran straight into someone.
Rumi let out a startled sound as she stumbled back, hearing the woman let out her own ‘oomph’ from the impact, two hands grabbing her arms and steadying her. Her eyes quickly took in the sight of the tall pink haired woman she had run into as well as the shorter black haired girl who had shot her hands out to catch her.

Rumi knew she’d been standing on the sidewalk staring at the doorway long enough for it to be creepy, but she couldn’t help it.
It wasn’t that the doorway in question was itself daunting or anything; it was just a typical glass door, for a business that sat tucked away on a side street on the outskirts of Seoul. It was even sitting on the sunny side of the street as the day gently rolled over from morning to noontime, making the small chalkboard ‘welcome’ sign hanging inside it gleam all the brighter.
No, the part that was giving Rumi pause was what laid beyond the door. And the potential it had to change...everything.
Was she ready? Really ready?
...No.
Not really.
But she was also sick and tired of not being ready, so whatever she was now would just have to do.

Rumi walks into a tattoo parlor in Seoul wanting to cover up the scars she gave to herself and reclaim a bit of her life.
