The two of them fell into a rather depressed silence.
“Why is everyone in our parents’ generation so sad?” Jingyi sighed. “This won’t do. Sizhui, help me make Sect Leader Nie our friend.”

“Yes, well…” Moze’s hand isn’t warm but it isn’t cold either. Jiaoqiu can count the number of times they’ve touched for non medical reasons on his fingers. A strange thought. He’s never considered Moze to be tangible before. “...I like to have the option.”
