But after the U-20 match, the media, the pressure, the fake apologies—everything drove him straight into Sae’s guest room. The apartment is quiet, too quiet, except for when it’s not. Shidou crashes the peace. Kaiser leaves his cologne. The futon stays empty some nights. The silence says more than either brother will. But maybe silence isn't safety. Maybe it’s just fear with a pretty face.

Sure, the emotions he felt towards Bunny were mostly negative, the other having a particularly well developed skillset finely tuned to pissing Sae off any chance he could. The way Bunny was able to get under his skin was unlike anything he’s ever seen before, the taller knowing exactly which button to press and which nerve to tug at to upset Sae at any given moment.
Even with all of that, Sae could never bring himself to truly hate Bunny. He really, really wanted to, but there was something about him that stirred emotions in Sae that he’s never felt regarding anyone else.or
Sae Itoshi and Bunny Iglesias have a complicated relationship. One day, Bunny crosses a line and Sae can't keep quiet about it. What happens after makes Sae question where he really stands.

Summary
Itoshi Sae hated a lot of things. Namely Bunny Iglesias. So when he has to do a post-game MVP photo with the man, Sae just wants to get it over with. What he's not banking on however, is the keycard Bunny slips him whilst no one is looking.
What ensues afterwards is a combination of rash decisions made from long-term grudges and underlying desperation.
