Summary
After escaping Hope’s Peak Academy alive, the idea of getting into a similar situation for a second time hadn’t even crossed Byakuya’s mind. Yet, here he was, stranded on an island with a bunch of people he didn’t know and Monokuma trying to convince them yet again to kill each other. Well, he wasn’t having any of it. He learned some valuable lessons from the last killing game, so he would personally make sure that there wouldn’t be a single murder this time.
At least, that was the plan. It appeared that trying to keep a whole class alive was much harder than just surviving on your own. Apart from handling his eccentric new classmates and looking for clues about why he was there and how to escape, he also had to figure out how to deal with Monokuma’s continued attempts to disrupt the peace. It was a challenge, but surely nothing a Togami couldn’t handle… right?

Komaeda was once an unfortunate, lonely individual who lost everything he could ever love: his parents, his dog, himself. He now lives day by day by his fearful lonesome, he believes he can’t let people get too close or else he loses them, yet he still yearns deeply for someone to love and someone to love him despite his luck.
Hinata is an ordinary guy but there’s something off about him. Hinata feels like a cozy anomaly, like a childhood friend from another country, he doesn’t remember anything related to his talent yet he acts much like his talented peers: confident and self-assured. He is the only person on the island who tries to understand Komaeda despite his warnings and he’s not sure if he should be grateful or terrified.
Be that as it may, his real problem was⸺of course⸺himself, or rather his own body. Komaeda has always despised his body and those feelings have never been stronger, whenever he’s around Hinata a deep, deep throbbing sensation wrecks through his southern shores making him feel hot and itchy.
Komaeda has never felt this way before, to anyone.

The sounds of crinkling paper and his own frantic breath filled his ears. He flailed, sluggish and uncoordinated, and his limbs knocked against something solid– glass.
There was a click, then the barrier shifted. Suddenly, the light vanished. Warm, stale air washed over his face. He realized he was lying in some kind of pod. Wires snaked across his body, ending in electrodes.

Three months after the World Destroyer and inhabiting the island, Hinata Hajime has rarely spoken a handful of words to Komaeda Nagito. Wanting to reignite their friendship, Hinata stumbles to even simply suggest hanging out again just like they used to within the simulation as normal. But things will never be just like the simulation again. Things have changed. And so has the relationship between them. Feelings change, thoughts become confused and muddled together. Then, a new type of relationship blossoms, slowly, but it hits Hinata's heart like a burst of fireworks.
Short: Slow burn Hinata and Komaeda romance. Long chapters, long story, planned for a long time to come. I'm hoping to write over 50+ chapters.
