It’s a situation he never would have conceived, not that long ago, but now he can’t imagine being any other way. The thought of being parted from Lan Wangji ever again is too painful to bear. Being married is as permanent as one can get, in this life. It’s been, in a word, blissful, knowing that they’ve made their commitment to each other so permanent- not that it was ever in question, really.
In which Wei Wuxian plays into his new husband's insatiable appetite, the forehead ribbon is once again used for less than righteous purposes, and Wei Wuxian continues to get exactly what he wants. (But so does Lan Wangji.)

Lan Wangji's nickname for Wei Ying has been "pudding" since he dared Wei Ying to eat 35 cups of chocolate diet pudding ten years ago. He’s never really thought very much of it - it’s a cute nickname, and sure it might make people ask if they’re dating, but does it matter in the end?
...and okay, so maybe Wei Ying fell irrevocably in love with Lan Wangji somewhere along the way - it’s still fine, at least he can indulge in this fantasy of them dating.
