Summary
Grand Master Varka is not a strict commander. Not careless, certainly, but laid-back. To fulfill one's duty was more than enough to be in his good graces. But it's hard for those around him not to notice just how much he lets Vice-Captain Lohen get away with.
Or:
Snippets of a developing (and slightly controversial) relationship through the eyes of those watching it happen.

Summary
Illuga shakes his head. "I've gone mad. That must be it. I bumped my head and now I'm hallucinating an impossible scenario."
"How cruel," says Flins, though the smile curving over his lips betrays his amusement. "I would hope that, after everything I've done for you, you'd see me as more than just a figment of your imagination."
He's joking, Illuga knows, but a pang of guilt seizes him regardless. "You're right. I'm sorry. You saved my life, after all."
Alternatively, after a botched mission against the Wild Hunt, Illuga wakes in an unfamiliar place and to an unfamiliar face. Fortunately, his savior is friendly—and handsome—enough, even if he has a few secrets.

Summary
The age of the fae is slowly coming to an end in Sneznhnaya and Lord Kyrill had accepted this long ago. He already has plans for a quiet departure from both the court and his life, as he attends one last ball to say goodbye to it all. However, his plans fall apart completely when the other fae drag him to a secret auction with a prize rivaling anything they'd ever seen during the Belyi-Tsar's reign.
It's a living human being. The Lightkeeper from Nod-Krai had been dragged away from a battle and is now at the mercy of a pack of bloodthirsty fae. There's only one of them capable saving him, but will Lord Kyrill give up his wish of a quiet end just to guide one last soul home?TLDR: Lord Kyrill buys a feisty human on the fae market. He vows to take him back to Nod-Krai like a gentleman, definitely not intending to fall in love in the process. Will his mission fail? Hmm, if only there was a weekly-updating series that could answer that question!

Summary
Nod Krai, the Elysium with its gates open to all - where loyalties are sold cheaper than bread and the currents of society firmer than the icy hand of the Tsaritsa. In this corrupted Elysium, there is Illuga - a man with a secret and nowhere to place his trust. And what could such a man do in this forsaken hellscape, aside from selling his soul to one who would devour it whole?
OR
A mission gone wrong found Illuga believing himself marked for death, but in waltzed his savior with molten gold for eyes and a cape dark like smoke, along with a test against his heart and loyalties.
This fic now has illustrations all thanks to the wonderful JuuKYuu who is @AM3THYSTDREAM on Twitter/X and there's MORE beautiful art up there (go check it outttt swear on my life you'd have zero regrets)
