Summary
Tango smiles back and starts following the team, unable to stall any longer, but he can’t stop himself from turning back to watch Jimmy pull his jersey on as he steps onto the pitch. He knows Jimmy will remember this moment forever, and Tango knows that he won’t be able to forget it either. Jimmy’s messy blonde hair, the quiet look of reverence in his eyes turning to steely resolve as Grian reaches over to fist-bump him - it’s a sight he’s seen a hundred times, a hundred new players he’s seen walk onto the pitch, but he knows he’ll remember this one. Maybe it’s the knowledge that it’s his last first game. The last time he’ll see a rookie on his team earn his cap. Or maybe it’s just because it's Jimmy, who has charmed his way into a soft spot in Tango's heart, as much as he denies it.

Summary
When Wels first came to the city, he really only had what was left in his savings after handing his landlord as much cash as it took for the man to be bribed into letting Wels rent one of the apartments, not even bothering how awful the space had been. His entire life had been packed into boxes and crammed into his car, his move so spontaneous that in his hasty retreat he hadn't even had any plans for what he was going to do or where he was going to live.
He just had to get away.
______
Wels is a former boxer laid low by his competitor Hels who broke him physically and resulting in his crashing mentally. After a blowout fight with his long time friends, Wels fled to a new city where no one knew his name in hopes of starting over or fading away quietly. Too bad the city of dreams refuses to let him go down without swinging. Inspired by The Boxer by Simon & Garfunkel

Summary
Anything waterdwelling knows from bait.
---
Or: xBCrafted deals with the people around him, and a secret he's been keeping for one hell of a long time. Not the "old enemies hunting him down" type, no - this should be fine, as long as nobody pries. It's the way you should deal with secrets like this, really, just don't let people know. No questions, no answers.Hypno never got that memo, apparently.
