Summary
Morty should be disturbed, by all accounts. He should be pleading to his non-denominational Christian god to wake him up, he should shudder and turn away as he watches his mother wail with an intensity that sends her careening over the oak-wood surface of his final resting place, kissing the plaque and leaving a smear of bile and blood from bitten lips. Instead, Morty steps forward and revels in the screaming and crying, his hand brushing along the casket tenderly, wondering if the Morty inside knew how lucky he was to have this.
or; morty starts having weirdly realistic dreams after the events of s9e10, and by the time he realises how much he isn't supposed to like being dead, he's halfway there

Summary
Morty knew he had a grandfather. He had overheard his mother drunkenly ramble about his grandfather on multiple occasions. It wasn't far-fetched to believe this man was actually his grandpa. Afterall, they had the exact same eyes.

Summary
Rick couldn't help but think about how Morty's a little too similar to Prime. The same damn person who murdered his family with a bomb. Yeah, that Prime. He really does try not to think about it, but the similarities keep popping up.

Summary
“Rick! You said we would go!”
Morty was quite upset right now. Before they went on this particular adventure, Rick had told him they would go try out that new ice cream shop. Albeit, it was an incentive to convince Morty to get out of bed at an ungodly hour of the night rather than an actual desire for bonding, but the young boy eagerly took the bait.
However, right as they got ahold of the crystals, Rick conveniently forgot about that little promise, impatiently waiting to get home so he could get high and black-out drunk. Normally, Morty wouldn’t be this upset, as Rick prioritizing his self-destructive tendencies over him wasn’t surprising, but, this was one of the more rough adventures.
Morty Smith was tired, exhausted, and pissed.
