Ed chuckled, a little sheepish as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I can't believe you even kept it."
Lorraine scoffed and playfully rolled her eyes. "You're crazy for thinking I'd ever throw it out. You used to say that music would do the talking for you." She stood and made her way to the old stereo they'd kept just for decoration- or for when they found old cassettes, as Lorraine told him when he was about to throw it out last year.

When Lorraine was a young girl, she always dreamed of finding her prince or knight in shining armor. She always wanted to have a big family; a bunch of kids, a loving, handsome husband and a large house with a white picket fence.
As she grew up, Lorraine always promised herself that when she was older and had a daughter who'd one day ask "Who was your first love?", she wouldn't have to pull out an old album to point at a picture. That she'd be able to just point across the room and say "He's sitting right over there".
