Summary
Five years ago, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov quietly went their separate ways. They handled their heartbreak differently. Shane cut off his family and friends and focused only on hockey, not that it helped, his game has totally fallen apart. Ilya had the support of the Centaurs, even if they didn't know why they were supporting him.
But when Ilya announces his retirement at the end of the next season, it shakes Shane back to reality. He has one season left to play against the man he still loves; and then, would he ever see him again? As Shane starts to piece his life back together, the biggest missing piece is still Ilya.
Ilya had planned to just enjoy the last season he'd play of professional hockey and obviously try to win another cup. But when Shane reaches back out, he has much more to consider. He never expected to talk to Shane again, but he can't deny that it's everything he's wanted in the last five years.
Can they salvage what they had? Should they even try? How can Shane and Ilya be a part of each other's lives again?

Summary
On New Year’s Eve in 2019, Henry never showed up to the White House Trio party and he stopped answering Alex’s texts. Six years later, he shows up at Alex’s house in Austin, adding an unexpected complication to what already promised to be one of the most complicated weekends in Alex’s life. Will this one weekend fix the mistakes of the past, or leave them worse off than they were?
But what Alex is least expecting, in the entire fucking world, is for Prince Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor to step out of the car, as if this is something they do.
As if they’ve talked, since Henry just never showed up to New Year’s back in 2019 and then ghosted Alex.
“Your Royal Highness,” he says, something vicious inside him he’s learned to leash most of the time enjoying the minute flash of disappointment he spies in Henry’s eyes at the use of his official and utterly correct title. “It’s a surprise to see you here. What can I do for you?”

Summary
“What are these?” Yuna hears Ilya ask. He’s standing with his back to her in front of the armoire next to the couch, looking up at the shelves. She’d been on her way back into the living room with after-dinner coffee when she’d paused at the threshold.
Shane steps toward the armoire, coming up behind Ilya and curling both arms around his waist. “Um, trophies from when I was a kid. Like, minor hockey leagues and tournaments and stuff.”
Ilya moves his head from left to right slowly, scanning the array of trophies and medals on the shelf. “Is big business? Making meaningless awards for tiny hockey players?”
“They aren’t meaningless,” Shane protests, but he sounds a little sheepish.
“Yes, I’m sure the…” Ilya leans in close to read the plaque on one trophy, “‘Sportsmanship Award’ for the U7 Snowflake Classic was very prestigious.”
Shane rolls his eyes, but he’s laughing. “They don’t have awards like this in Russia?”
Or: Yuna bonds with Ilya, one plastic trophy at a time.
