Summary
Yang was not poor. She refused to acknowledge it. She had her daily bread, she had clothes that weren't holey or dirty, and she had a roof over her head. But Yang was no fool. She hunted day and night, week after week; she hauled stone in town and trained horses for lords with better things to do- she worked for that bread and those clothes, and she never let herself forget that she and her father were the only things keeping her little sister comfortable; belly full of bread, cleaned shoes and dresses, and all the freedom that ignorant bliss can buy you.
Blake was not poor. She knew this like she knew how to chew; like she knew so thoroughly how to swallow; like she knew how to stomach despicability. Oh yes, Blake had it all, alright. She had gowns, and crowns, and gossamer ropes with which to practice her nooses. But Blake was no fool. Nor was she so desperate for reprieve that she'd stoop so low; being a prisoner of war in a foreign castle was one thing, it was another to be married to your captor. For all her supposed title should have granted her, and for having much... Blake had nothing. Nothing but her common sense. And her common sense told her to run.

Blake and Yang, Yang and Blake, BlakeandYang, YangandBlake—
No matter the photo, the view, it’s always them.
Though their circumstances do vary, people say they saw them with a child, others don’t, some say they’re happy and carefree, others swear they’re recovering from hell, but no matter the perspective—

Summary
Blake has never been one for panicking. She prides herself on keeping her emotions in check, on examining every angle of a problem before coming to a conclusion. She kept her cool when the military base had snuffed them out immediately. She stayed calm during the combat that ensued. She even stayed collected when they were falling hundreds of feet back down to earth after a hasty escape.
But now, looking at team JOYR’s aura stats? Seeing Oscar’s broken completely, and Yang almost joining him? She isn’t going to blame herself when her breathing starts to quicken as she sends Yang multiple messages, not getting a single one in return. Nor is she going to blame herself when she starts sprinting back to the hideout when she finally, finally gets a message from Jaune (not Yang, why can’t Yang message her?).

Summary
Based off of this prompt by shipsnthenight: Maggie’s aunt lives in Midvale, so Maggie has been living there since she was 14. She and Alex have been together since they were 16. Now it’s the end of senior year, Alex and Maggie are in Alex’s room. Alex is stuck writing the valedictorian speech while staring at her letter of admission to Stanford, while Maggie, who is going to be joining the miliary in 3 months, is messing around with her guitar waiting for her girl to be finished before they join the others (superfriends) on the beach where the fire is already going and the party to celebrate the end of senior year and Alex’s last amazing victory in a regional surfing competition is about to start. Alex is frustrated and crumples up her speech notes for the fifth time, Maggie then puts away the guitar and joins Alex on the bed. The girl is worried that they won’t be able to make it work long distance and is also scared to death by what could happen to Maggie, but there’s no way they’re splitting up, so they’ll have to find a way. So basically the rest of the story is going to be the 3 months of summer together, and the next however long years of Alex in college and Maggie in the military.
So anyway please enjoy.
