What mattered was that it was 2 AM and he was standing infront of Georgie and she was exhausted and she had dark shadows under her eyes and she was wearing those stupid old bunny slippers she got from a secret santa at work years ago. Jon from a decade ago would have teased her about it. Georgie from a decade ago would have already moved aside to let Jon in.
Jon was silent. Georgie didn’t move.
