Shinsou Hitoshi never made it past 20. In the years that follow, he spends his existence haunting the house he lived and died in. When the old man finally sells the property, and a certain Midoriya Izuku moves in, Hitoshi isn't sure how far he'll take his haunting.
Midoriya Izuku moves into a beat-up, dilapidated property to escape his troubles at home. All alone in a new town, he finds himself no longer plagued by horrible nightmares... though, instead, he keeps finding his VHS tapes, dishes, and fridge magnets in odd places...
Two young men, one living and one deceased, can't help but come together to mend their broken hearts.
ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I've liked this fic for a long time now, and I am so happy to get to release it!!!! This is also our first multichapter Shindeku Month podfic release, so three cheers for that! There are a few more multichapter fics on their way. Hopefully y'all know by now that I have no qualms recording long stories! Anyways. It might be short and open-ended, but I hope you all enjoy my narration of this funky lil story! As I'm writing this A/N, youtube playlisted me up Vance Joy's "Riptide" sandwiched between the Machikado Mazoku{The Demon Girl Next Door}'s "Machikado Tangent" and "Yoimachi{Good Town} Cantare" and I feel incredibly called out. Also, if you haven't watched that anime, you're supremely missing out. Episode 10 Shamicen Version 1 is my actual soul and I think about it all the freakin time. Can't wait for season 2 to drop this year.

ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ There's a tiny nightmare described [2:43-3:41]. It isn't anything descriptive or major but if you are hyper-sensitive to scary then watch out, my lovelies! Hitoshi's mother has a one-night-stand stay at the house the night Hitoshi is killed. That incident(involving an attempted sexual assault) is described between [4:07-4:33].
