It all started when Atsushi was sent to drop off some papers that the Port Mafia had let them borrow. That was when he saw her, the woman with orange hair and blue eyes standing in the Port Mafia's hallways and talking. She was beautiful if he was being honest. However, after he left, he forgot about her- at least until a few months later, when the ADA and the Port Mafia teamed up for an undercover mission. One that was led by said 'woman'. Aka, Chuuya Nakahara.

Summary
A sixteen-year old Chuuya finds himself falling for the new twenty-five year old executive at a vulnerable time in his life. The relationship slowly reveals itself to be controlling and bad.
Dazai, seeing it for what it is, tries to
helpsabotage, but things keep getting worse.____
"Chuuya should not date him." Dazai glares up at him stubbornly.
"I don't get it. What the hell's your problem?"
"Chuuya is my dog! He should not go to another person!"
Chuuya's face crumples in rage and he bongs Dazai hard on the head. "I'm not a fucking dog!"
Dazai winces and yelps, rubbing his head. "Chuuya hit me too hard."
Somehow the conversation ends up going back to Chuuya speaking with his eyes far and fond about Takumi. Dazai drops his chin to Chuuya's chest and just watches him yap on and on about him, his smile and bright eyes. He looks beautiful like this; he almost looks as beautiful as he does when Dazai makes him angry, flushed pink and neat brows furrowed tightly, eyes ablaze.
Dazai only does not like what is causing this happiness.

Such a beautiful fic with disturbingly realistic depiction of an abusive relationship. It's so important to me that it shows how much of a tool all the things that happened to Chuuya take on him mentally. Also the way Dazai's relationship with Oda is portrayed is fascinatin. The way he learns of humanity from him and Chuuya. Absolutely amazing and heartwrenching. Also, after this, there's no way Dazai's leaving the Mafia without Chuuya, and that's really all I want for soukoku ever so..

He must have knocked. Some time after, the door hauls open.
"That's just great," the short redhead in the doorway sighs with disgust, all silken lavender robes and flat eyes, "Just what I needed after a long flight back home. Shitty Dazai, the last thing I want right now is to see your ugly-ass face, so fuck off out of here."
Dazai is staring at Chuuya blankly, and can't remember what made him think he could come here.
"Right." His whisper is thin, raspy. Right. Of course.
Like a ghost that doesn't know it's dead, he turns around, and he begins to leave just the way he came.
"Dazai?"

After Odasaku's death, Dazai ends up at Chuuya's door, rain-soaked, dissociated and grieving.

Summary
Chuuya always knew he would die young. He knew this fact since he was king of the sheep, and it was only made all the more true once he joined the mafia. Still, he clung to life like a leech and managed to make it all the way into his 20s before it was confirmed.
Nakahara Chuuya would die in a month's time.
In that time, he prepares those around him for a world without him. If he were to truly die, he needed to fill in the holes that would be left once he passed. Ane-san, Akutagawa, and especially those in the Detective Agency. After all, his 7 years of knowledge regarding Dazai had to go somewhere, right?
When asked about one Dazai Osamu, most would shiver and mutter the lines of "that man seems to know everything". It's a false statement, of course, since that fact goes to his coworker, Ranpo. No, it's not that Dazai knows everything, it's just that he plans for everything. Most things are fickle, after all, and can't be expected to remain the same.
The only exception is Chuuya. The sky is blue, grass green, and Chuuya will always be there. It's the way the world works.
Except for when it isn't, and Dazai's world suddenly stops spinning on its axis.

"We're both going to die soon anyway, what's the point in manners?" Chuuya flinched at the cold tone of his voice, but that just caused the other's smile to grow. "Scared of death, huh?"
"Who isn't?"
The other boy shrugged. "I've been chasing it for a long time."
Waking up in a serial killer's basement wasn't what Chuuya had meant to experience when he ran across the country. But now he's trapped there with the most insufferable guy he's ever met. How are they meant to get out of this? And what are they going to do when they escape?

It's absolutely amazing how a story set so far from canon can still have characterisation so true. In bsd i think it's especially difficult, and here it's pulled off flawlessly. I adore how Murase is included, and the way Dazai and Chuuya banter is so fun and fresh, and Dazai is the mastermind but Chuuya is very intelligent and it shows here which I love. I've never read a fic quite like that and oh my it's just great
