“I highly doubt it, Kyoutani,” Iwaizumi countered. “When someone gives Yahaba the amount of shit you do, he pretends he’s feeling confident but then goes to cry to someone about what happened. With you, it’s different. He isn’t afraid of standing up to you.”
Kyoutani probably looked like an interrogation point, because Iwaizumi sighed and continued. “Yahaba enjoys bickering with you. He never ends the conversation quickly, you two would probably ramble for hours if Oikawa and I didn’t stop you.”
“When did you know Oikawa-san liked you back?”
“I discovered it at the very last moment.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Wanna hear about it?”
Kyoutani had already talked more than he was used to, so he nodded. Although he would never admit it out loud, he was always curious about how Iwaizumi and Oikawa had gotten together.
“Alright…” Iwaizumi said, stretching his legs and then sitting down on the bench. “You might want to sit down, because this is going to be long.”The story in which Iwaizumi gives his kouhai, Kyoutani, advice on how to confess to his crush by telling him how he and Oikawa started dating.
