There’s not much left of Skip’s life that is of any concern to his father, anyway. Not since early that morning when he’d packed away only what he absolutely needed of his life by the light of the single flickering street lamp on the corner, not since finding that sketchy Craigslist ad offering a bedroom in a townhouse for $650 a month and utilities covered, “Serious inquiries only,” and certainly not since graduating high school and secretly enrolling in an online undergraduate photography program right under his father’s nose.
