Oh my god, he just called the other ‘really pretty’, he just referred to him as that, he didn’t mean that— well, he did, but that wasn’t the point, he wanted to apologize!
But before he could move his hand away in social mortification, a surprisingly soft hand gripped him with an amount of care Avid hadn’t expected. He glanced up, and oh god, the other dropped almost half the towel. Avid could see the droplet of water going down the side of his leg!
The expression and voice on this guy's face was terrifying. “Well, hello, Avid,” He pronounced the word with mistrust. “I’m Scott Goldsmith, but you can continue to refer to me as ‘really pretty’.”
Avid’s eyes became wider and wider as the other spoke, and by the end of it, he screamed internally.
