Summary
Desire, not muddied by depression, felt overwhelming and terrifying. New desires— or rather, old desires that had gone stymied for years— came to the surface in teeth-gnashing ferocity. It wasn't the same at all. It was a need not just to fuck, but to be loved and given the compassion he had been denying himself, and even more terrifying, to be fucked.
