Summary
It's 1944, Germany is losing the war, and while in France, Dieter begins to have doubts about his own perspective of the spoon-fed propaganda that had been forcibly drilled into his head for many years. Hans's motivation remains elusive to Dieter.
How long will they play this game of cat and mouse they've played for over a decade now? Were there really ever cats or mice to begin with?
And now they have a British spy captive to take care of while the Basterds give them what is essentially a time bomb.
