Ryo had thought he could stay composed and have things under his control as always, but it clearly turned out love was never his domain. For the first time in Ryo’s life tears welled up in his eyes as the consequences of his actions upon Akira finally dawned on him. The price Akira paid for the love Ryo had been blind to was himself, his very life and values. The horrifying thought reduced Ryo to a sobbing crybaby in Akira’s arms, his sapphire blue eyes overflowing like waves of a grievous ocean, his shoulders quivering in painful realization, his gleaming white wings trembling in woes.
