Chapter Text
Remus couldn't sleep, of course. The pain seemed minor now compared to the emotion which enveloped his entire body. He was unfamiliar with it, it wasn't exactly love like he felt with Grant, but it was more the feeling that something unattainable was so close to him. He slowly turned his head, staring at Sirius through the curtains of his bed. Although his chest was rythimacally moving, Remus could tell from the sounds of his breathing that he was awake.
"Sirius," Remus gently whispered, and watched in silent delight as Sirius sat up, drawing the curtains and locking eyes with Remus.
Sirius climbed from his bed and into Remus' drawing the curtains shut from behind him. "Is everyone else asleep?" Sirius quietly asked, to which Remus nodded in agreement.
"You got any questions about the werewolf thing? I won't get vexxed, swear." Remus said, to which Sirius thought for a moment, digging through his thoughts. Remus wished that he could see inside of his mind and know what he was thinking, it was something he had wanted to do since he first noticed the way that his brows furrowed whenever he was thinking.
"When did you get bit?" Sirius asked after a beat of silence, meeting Remus' eye with a guilty look, as if he'd said something wrong.
"Man was four, a likkle yute still." Remus replied, quickly. He didn't mind speaking about it, as it was merely an unfortunate part of him now.
Remus noticed a strand of Sirius' hair which had come loose from the rest, and he absentmindedly tucked it behind Sirius' ear. As his hand lingered there for a moment, their eyes met in a moment of pure connection and attraction. Sirius slowly leant in, and as did Remus, and before he knew it, they were somehow kissing again. Remus ran his hands through Sirius' hair like before, whilst Sirius slipped his hands underneath Remus' t-shirt and caressed his abs and chest gently. Remus slipped his tongue into Sirius' mouth, delicately exploring it as if he were a pirate and Sirius' saliva was the treasure.
They broke away, breathing heavy for a moment as their eyes met. "Remus, what are we?" Sirius quietly asked.
Remus thought for a moment, they certainly weren't boyfriends, but they were definitely friends. "Friends with benefits?" Remus hesitantly responded, unsure whether that was the answer which Sirius was expecting.
"Yeah, okay." Sirius responded, his breath hitching as he leant in again, slowly taking off his shirt as they made out. Remus removed his too, leaning back and allowing Sirius to lie on top of him as their lips and tongues continued to wrestle with each other frantically.
Sirius slowly moved down Remus' body until he reached the top of his trousers, and Remus couldn't help but allow for a moan to escape his lips as Sirius trailed kisses down Remus' stomach and abs. Sirius looked up at Remus with an expression of pure hunger and desperation as he pulled down Remus' trousers and he pulled out Remus' hard, throbbing cock which was twitching slightly in anticipation. Sirius slowly worked his way down to his balls, beginning to suck on them as he savoured the taste by licking his rosy lips. He grunted in delight as he worked his way upwards, pleasuring Remus in ways which he'd never imagined to be possible.
Sirius moved higher, begining to take Remus' length into his mouth graciously. He sucked like an angel whom was banished for sinning, he was so delicate and gentle yet somehow Remus was gripping his sheets as he whimpered under Sirius' control.
Remus didn't know how long he was doing that for, all that he knew was that it felt bloody amazing, and Sirius didn't spit a single drop out. Afterwards, Remus put his shirt on, and as did Sirius. Remus gave him one final kiss, one of pure wildness as Sirius returned to his bed.
Merlin, Remus was so unbelievably screwed.
The next morning, Remus grogilly sat up, contemplating whether the events of the previous night had been some sick wet dream, however the moment he looked over to Sirius, still sleeping innocently, he knew that it wasn't. He couldn't have possibly imagined that pure desire, the moment when Sirius took Remus' full length as if it were nothing. The suns rays smacked Remus in the face once he'd fully adjusted to the light, and he found that his feet were too warm whilst his torso was too cold. It wasn't an ideal morning, but at least he'd had his dream night.
James and Peter weren't there, meaning they'd likely gone out for breakfast, or lunch, whatever time it was by now. Remus grunted as he climbed from his bed, smirking at Sirius as he slept quietly. He walked towards his desk, pulling out a book which he'd been enjoying reading for a few days now. It was one which Peter had given him, meaning that it would either be absolutey horrible or the best piece of fiction which he'd ever discovered. He found that it was the second option, thankfully. Although it was a romance, it wasn't as cringey as some usually were. They seemed to be in a secret relationship, of sorts. Remus turned the pages greedily, waiting for the two main characters to hurry up and start dating.
Remus wondered if he and Sirius were in a secret relationship, surley they had to be. It wasn't as if Sirius had necessarily told anybody about them shagging, as far as Remus was aware. Would it be an issue if Remus told someone? Would Sirius end thing between them? Perhaps, but it didn't particularly matter, as Remus had nobody to tell.
He'd decided to go to the library in order to finish his book; Sirius' childish snoring interrupted Remus more times than he was able to count. The library was surprisingly warm, it reminded Remus of a fireplace. There was only one area which didn't appear as welcoming — the forbidden section. Remus shivered at the cold atmosphere before returning to his book, continuously reading as if he were addicted to it. The noise of a book being placed beside Remus made him jump, he turned to his side to see Lily taking a seat beside him with a girlish laugh.
"Wagwan Lily, what you saying?" Remus sighed in embarrassment as he dapped her up (she was one of the only people in the wizarding world who knew about the concept of dapping up).
"Nothing, just thought I'd join you." She said with a coy smile as she twirled her ginger curls around a finger. Remus nodded in acknowledgement, returning to his own book.
He sat there for at least an hour, occasionally listening to Lily rant about her book whilst he was immersed in his own. His book unfortunately ended on a cliffhanger, leaving a disappointed taste in Remus' mouth. As he gathered his things, preparing to return to the dorm and hopefully spend some time with Sirius, a fragile tug on his sleeve caused him to pause.
"Remus, can I ask you something?" Lily asked, her voice small and unusually weak.
Remus stood there for a moment, staring in awe at how petite Lily looked at that moment. "Yeah, course." He finally stammered out as he sat on the table with a huff, making eye contact with her.
"Can you check up on James for me? He's been lying a lot, not just small lies either. When he said he was going out with Peter, I saw him walking toward the astronomy tower alone, and Mary swears that she saw him in Hogsmeade with a short haired woman. He can date whoever he likes, I'm just worried that if he's keeping a secret it might be a bad thing. Sorry for rambling," She finished with a slight giggle as she stared up at Remus, wide, hopeful eyes beaming at him.
"It's calm, and yeah, don't even worry mate. I'll see what this yute's moving like." Remus said with a smirk as he nudged Lily softly and hopped onto his feet yet again, not looking back as he walked quickly back to the dormitory.
Once he was at his dorm, he couldn't help but feel a sudden rush of nerves before opening the door. His cheeks were flushed and his hands shakey, but he wasn't sure what he was exactly worried about — Sirius had his dick in his mouth the night before, there couldn't possibly be anything that Remus may do now which can scare him away.
When he entered, he felt slightly disheartened to see James sat with Sirius on the floor as they played wizard's chess, but Peter wasn't there, which was strange. What was even stranger, though, was the third heartbeat in the room, the strong scent of unfamiliar blood and the ragged breathing coming from seemingly nothing in the corner. Remus suspiciously glared, hearing as the heartbeats from whoever was hidden sped up. He glanced down to James, who seemed to be sweating slightly as he snapped his gaze from Remus once they locked eyes. Damn, Lily was right, James was sneaking around with somebody, and they were hidden in this dorm.
Remus smiled shortly, amused as he placed the completed book onto Peter's bed. He couldn't place the gender nor appearence of the person, obviously. It seemed that they were under James's invisibility cloak, so why not make him more nervous?
"Ai my bro James, where's that cloak ting? Man needs to borrow it still," Remus said, attempting to refrain from chuckling between every word as he watched James's face heat up.
He stammered for a moment, frantically searching the crevices in his mind for an excuse, "Peter's borrowing it! Yeah, he's using it n-now!" James finally said, his voice an octave higher then usual. Sirius raised a brow in suspicion before shrugging and returning to wizard chess.
As if on queue, Peter entered the room a few seconds later carrying a plant plot.
"Wagwan Peter, what you saying g? Can man use James's cloak still, he said you was using it you know." Remus said, approaching Peter. James must have thought he was slick in the way which he sternly shook his head towards Peter, but Remus wasn't as oblivious as Sirius.
"Oh! I left it somewhere," Peter stammered, not noticing the way which Remus' pointed look practically said I know you're a liar.
Before Remus could call him out, the door opened a fraction of an inch, and there was one presence less in the room. Darn it mystery person, I'll catch you soon, Remus cursed in his mind.
